Frequently asked questions about fasting

QI don't live in Tokyo. Can I receive counseling?

Yes, it is possible.
I often provide counselling sessions via Skype, FaceTime and Zoom.
It is also used by busy people who live in Tokyo.

QI have to prepare meals for my family. Can I fast?

Yes, it is possible.
I also provide fasting guidance to many housewives.
When preparing meals, you will prepare food in advance for the fasting period.
Please prepare soup, meat sauce, dumplings, hot pot dishes, etc. that can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer in advance, or that only require cutting and putting in. We will also suggest menus that can be prepared in advance to suit your family.

Q: How effective is it for dieting?

Fasting increases ketone bodies by 100 times or more than normal.
This is proof that fat has been burned. The excess fat in the body is used as energy, so it is very effective for dieting.
The degree of weight loss depends on the person's basal metabolic rate, and I don't know the exact amount if I try it, but in a three-day fast, women can lose 1.5 to 4 kg, and men 1.5 to 5 kg. Some people can lose more weight on the second or subsequent fasts than on the first fast.

Q: I can’t stand the hunger.

Many people say this at first, but when you drink an enzyme drink when you feel hungry, you don't feel very hungry and you can actually feel surprisingly comfortable.

Q: Can I exercise during the fasting period?

Please refrain from strenuous exercise or exercise that makes you sweat a lot, but we recommend walking, yoga, and stretching.

QCan I work during the fastig period?

As long as your job does not involve physical labor or excessive sweating, it is possible to work while fasting.
Many working people say that they can work more efficiently without needing to take time for meals.
Since you won't know how your first fasting will go, we recommend that you fast on a day off if possible, but we will give you advice during the consultation.
